I work in email marketing and am always keen to keep up to date with the current email design suggestions, hence this purchase.
The book is written well, is easy to read and is concise. After reading the whole thing I redesigned my email template to conform better with the suggestions in this book. This included their suggestion of using limited elements of CSS, but to keep it all inline. Unfortunately every email preview that I tried with the CSS inline rendered differently to my original HTML design and I had to go back and replace all the CSS with FONT, COLOR and SIZE statements.
Overall there are some great pointers in here, especially if you're new to email design and it keeps it all in one place, but be careful how much faith you put into CSS, even inline.
